Jessie & B: Picnic Engagement

A few days ago I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph two of my good friends, Jessie and Bryan. They're an amazing couple that I have known for several years -- ever since Jessie answered my first call looking for models in the Bloomington area. Today, Jessie has modeled for me a dozen times; appearing in numerous fashion shoots, the beginning stages of my thesis, and even in a published fashion editorial. I'm so lucky to not only have such great friends, but to have the opportunity to document their love.

We met up at Miller park and set up a little romantic picnic with candles and a book of Shakespeare's plays. We caught the sun right as it was setting and captured the warm glow of the end of a fall day and some amazing colors of the setting sun. It was a beautiful evening for a beautiful couple.
